Notification emails not being sent

Troubleshooting tips to resolve issue with emails not being sent.

Admin using a Yahoo email address

Do not use email addresses for your Administrator email address. Yahoo uses a spam prevention policy which is incompatible with our email system - clients will not receive  emails should you use this email provider.

If you are using a email addresses change it to another email provider. Gmail offers free email addresses that will guarantee that all notification are sent.

Staff/Mangers not receiving emails

Ensure the email address has been entered correctly in their user profile.

Ensure that the staff/manger user has associated resources selected. Booking notification will only be sent to staff/manger user if they have an associated resource

  1. Logon to bookitlive
    Select Settings > Users
  2. Change email address and check that associated resources are selected
  3. Save
