How do I identify who added or cancelled a booking?

As bookitlive allows for both public booking by clients and private booking via the business dashboard by Administrators, Managers or staff members we need to identify who made the booking. To provide an audit trail of the booking action add/delete bookitlive records the action under the booked by and cancelled by field.

 

Viewing the booked by from booking sheet

  1. Goto the booking sheet
  2. Hover over a booking and the details are display which includes booked by

 

Using reports to determine who booked or cancelled a booking

The bookitlive reporting functionality can be used to determine who added or cancelled a booking

 

Select Tools > Reports

Select Booking Tab

Select a Custom Range

Select a start date

Select an End date

Select an Output option Screen or Excel

Select Search

The column Booked By  indicates who added the booking this includes:

Member (Client added the booking themselves)

Business owner (Booking added by a business owner account)

Manager (Name of the manager account) (Booking added by a Manager account)

Staff (Name of the staff account) (Booking added by a staff account)

 

The column Cancelled By indicates who cancelled the booking

Member (Client cancelled the booking themselves)

Business owner (Booking cancelled by a business owner account)

Manager (Name of the manager account) (Booking cancelled by a Manager account)

Staff (Name of the staff account) (Booking cancelled by a staff account)
